Wedding FAQs

How do I know if Billies Flower House design suits my own personal style?

We can work with almost any style of design, however, we are best known for our natural, whimsical and textural style. Our work can be described as “natural, local, garden and botanically inspired”. More importantly we love to discover your style so your flowers express who you are as couple.

What types of services do you offer?

You can choose to work with us on your wedding in several different ways. From ordering loose flowers for the DIY bride, or creating seasonal bridal party pieces only, to custom design including full service floral design, set up and tear down with our team for your rehearsal, ceremony, cocktails and dinner reception, we can help.

What if I am planning my wedding from afar and want to do custom?

If you are planning your wedding from a distance, we are happy to establish a “long distance relationship”! We request that you provide us with some possible dates and times that may work for you to set up an initial phone consultation. We will then provide you with a quote.

How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?

There are many factors that influence the cost of wedding flowers such as the style, size and number of arrangements and personal flowers you desire or require. Broadly speaking, we recommend $2000 as a good starting point for weddings of 80-100 guests or more. Our seasonal and DIY packages offer solutions for couples working with a stricter budget. We help you stay on budget with our knowledgeable design team. We are always honest and up front about which flowers are in season, local or are priced higher. If you are working with a specific budget, it is important to discuss this with us early on in your planning process to help us make suggestions and guide you in the right direction.

Do you charge for a consultation?

Please refer to our package information to see our different levels of service. For custom wedding design with Billies Flower House, your initial consultation is complimentary.
